Aqeel Ahmed is the Chief Compliance Officer of Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL) with over 30 years of diversified professional experience in banking, financial services and professional practice. His expertise spans Compliance, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal and External Audit, Finance & Accounts, Operations, Taxation and Corporate Affairs.

As a member of the founding team of Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited, he has played a pivotal role in building and strengthening the Bank’s Compliance Function, leading the development of robust compliance, governance and regulatory risk management frameworks aligned with the evolving expectations of the State Bank of Pakistan and best practices.

He completed his Chartered Accountancy (CA) Articleship with Tariq Ayub Anwar & Co., Islamabad, under the bye-laws of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.
